Dudley Mischief Places Second at Pan American Show
Dudley Mischief, a two year old Hereford bull bred by Dudley Bros. of Comanche and owned by Flat Top Ranch of Walnut Springs, won the grand championship at the Four State Hereford Show in Texarkana and placed second in the senior yearling division at the Pan-American Hereford Exposition in Dallas. The bull, carved at Dudley Bros. Ranch on November 15, 1945, was sold as a one year old for 5000 dollars to Flat Top Ranch.

Local Girl Says She Was Forced To Go With Men
Naomi Long a 14 year old of Comanche told Brownwood police she was forced to accompany two young men after meeting them in Brady. She said one man entered her Brady hotel room and forced her to go with them. Police detained the two men and the girl was questioned by Brady officers and Texas Ranger Clarence Nordyke. No weapons were found.
