Edna Hill and Proctor Schools reopened after a month long suspension to allow students to help gather crops. Community members visited relatives including Mr. and Mrs. Hillard Williams and Jap Pettijohn. Byron Dean Dorris and Billy Bryson spent Sunday with Bill Caulbough. Several from the area attended skating at Shiloh and teens Patsy Jo Collingsworth and Joan Collingsworth stayed with Betty Jo Bramlet.
