The Comanche lunch program lists for the week: Monday fish sticks with potatoes and peas. Tuesday beans with greens and macaroni and cheese. Wednesday barbecue patties with corn and rolls. Thursday hamburger with lettuce and tomato. Friday fried chicken with gravy and potatoes. Each day includes milk, bread, and a dessert or fruit item.
A brief note reports that an individual and his brother have been together and are now at Es. The two were previously separated by an unspecified event and are described as being with each other during the current situation.

John H. Reese, assistant professor of finance, was named assistant head of Texas Tech School of Business Administration after board approval. Reese joined Tech in 1937 and previously served in the JAG Corps at Fort Monmouth and Fort Hood. He is a SMU graduate with a law degree earned in 1954 and is married with two children.
The Harmony Good Will Club hosted a wedding shower for Mr and Mrs Sidney Horner on October 22. Mrs Horner is the daughter of Venoy and Mrs Kirkland of Comanche and Mr Horner is the son of O B Horner Sr of Zephyr. The couple married August 13 and recently discharged from the Army. About 75 members and guests attended with punch coffee and cake. They will live near Comanche.

Comanche Indians host De Leon Bearcats for the Comanche County football championship at Indian Memorial Stadium. The long running rivalry started in 1915 with the Indians leading 26-13 and three ties. Last year De Leon beat Comanche 20-14. two years ago Comanche won 28-8.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Nabors of Fort Worth spent a few weeks in Comanche remolding their rental house, carrying out renovation work during the stay.
