Francis Marion Vines 92 Dies. Rites Held in Dublin

Francis Marion Vines 92 of Route 7 Dublin and former Comanche County resident died Sunday night in a Dublin hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Waggoner and Rev. Charles Nestor officiating. Interment followed in Stag Creek Cemetery with grandsons as pallbearers. He was born February 18 1882 in Erath County and married Lillie Mae Delk March 23 1904 in Bibb. A Baptist deacon and retired farmer, he is survived by his wife and one son Daniel Vines of Lutkin ten daughters including Mrs. Madeline Hudson and Mrs.

The Comanche Chief reports the deaths of Arthur L. Faulkner 92 of Comanche who died in Brownwood after illness with services at the Comanche Funeral Home chapel and burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Also Hiram Hooper 73 of Olden died in Ranger Hospital, with funeral at First Baptist Church De Leon and burial in De Leon Cemetery. Survivors include multiple children and grandchildren across Texas Oklahoma and beyond.

Death of Comanche resident J M Webb at 82

J M Webb age 82 of Comanche died May 13 after a long illness. Funeral services were held May 15 at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Reddin and Rev. Kenneth Steele officiating. Interment followed at Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gray Rinehart Frankie Patterson Wesley Smart Pete Matthews A J McNew Ricky Henry. Honorary pallbearers were Leo Daniels Lonnie Thomason Doyle Goss Abris Williams Johnny Williams Jerry Williams and Damon Smart. Born April 3 1892 in Alabama he lived in Comanche County most of his life. He married Millie McNew March 28 1917 in Comanche County. He was a retired farmer and a member of Fundamental Baptist. Survived by two daughters Evelyn Phifer and Zelma Chapman of Comanche, eighteen grandchildren and forty seven great grandchildren.

Weathersby Dock 81 Dies in Fort Worth After 60 Years

E F Dock Weathersby 81 of 2412 Prairie Fort Worth died Thursday May 16 in a hospital. Retired from Swift and Co after 44 years he was World War I Army veteran and Mason. Survived by wife Minnie sister Kate Morris San Antonio and five stepchildren. Funeral 11 am Saturday May 25 at Grace Baptist Church with Mount Olivet burial.

Mrs Stewart Dies in Tyler During Visit to Son

Mrs Stewart wife of San Diego based businessman and sister in law to several Comancheans died suddenly Monday May 20 while visiting a son in Tyler. She leaves her husband of San Diego a Tyler son another son and a daughter in San Diego. Funeral services are expected in San Diego with two of the deceased's husband brothers in attendance.
