Farmers Cheese Plant Shines in Comanche County
The Farmers Cheese Plant, a division of Farmers Produce Co with manager George C. McKinzie, ships about 35,000 pounds of milk via 33 carriers daily earning roughly $600.00 to farmers. The plant, now in its fourth year, makes about 3,500 pounds of cheese daily and employs eight to ten staff plus carriers. Fort Worth bookkeeper Guy Webster recently joined, replacing Irene Walker who moved to Stephenville. Names of milk route operators from Comanche and nearby towns are listed.

Funeral Rites Held For Raymond Moore
Funeral services were held at Zion Hill Cemetery for Raymond Ira Moore 16 son of Mr and Mrs Avery Moore of the Elm Grove community. He was accidentally killed while hunting Thursday of last week. Rev Walter Scott of Brownwood conducted the rites. He is survived by his parents a brother and a sister. Ira was born in January.
