Sheriff Notice of Sale in Comanche County Texas 1926
By writ of execution issued January 13 1926 in Lee R Barton vs Mexia Star Petroleum Co and Montex Corporation the sheriff will offer for cash on the first Tuesday in June 1926 before the Comanche County courthouse door the following real and personal property. Ten acres of Nancy A Rector tract with a gasoline manufacturing plant, oil and gas leases totaling 1001 acres plus wells, rigs and equipment, an oil lease on 120 acres in D and D A Lands, a Lee Poteet lease, and a one eighth working interest from the east 80 acres of Co C Dishman tract located about 25 miles northwest of Comanche. Levied to satisfy a judgment of 17038.11 in favor of Lee R Barton. J T Gilbreath Sheriff.
