First Wool Shipment From Comanche Sells At Two2 Cents Per Pound
The Burton Brothers shipped about 30 000 pounds of wool from Comanche at an average of 22 cents per pound. Top price reached 2 1 cents while the low was 21 cents. Henry Stallings and Company of Lometa received the lot. Clarence Albin marketed about 2 500 pounds as the biggest clip. Buyers predict over 500 000 pounds to be sold in the county this spring with peak market in two to three weeks.

Two Year Old Dies From Burns After Basin Accident
Kenneth White son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert White of Gustine died in a German hospital Friday morning April 28 after burning when he fell into hot water while his mother prepared washing. Funeral services were at First Baptist Gustine with Rev. Isham and Rev. McGinnis assisting. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. He was born October 3, 1936 and survived by parents two brothers H F and Darwin two sisters Dale and Minta Joyce and grandparents.
