Garden Club Flower Show Highlights Local Winners
The Comanche Garden Club hosted its annual Flower Show on April 27 with the theme Once Upon a Time. Mrs. W. C. Chilton won the Award of Merit for a columbine collection, while Mrs. John Barton led in Blue ribbons with eight. Nell Rose Webb earned the Sweepstakes in Horticulture and led in Artistic sections with multiple awards across Sections A to E and an Invitational display by Mrs. Eugene Perkins. Over seventy visitors attended the event.

Freeze Hits Central Texas Peach Crops In 1974
