Livestock Field Day begins today at Comanche with 9:30 am start at the courthouse and pasture demonstrations near the Williams Ranch. County Agricultural Agent Lee C Coffey says the main program will be at the Williams Ranch with Paul Grege Extension Service entomologist and M Turney district soil specialist leading pasture work and demonstrations on cattle sheep and goats.

CHS Band Earns High Rating in IL Contest
Comanche High School Band, directed by M. T. Camp, earned a high rating as a first year group at the Interscholastic League contest in Abilene, placed in Division TI among twelve bands. Abilene and San Angelo bands were the only Division I placers. The group also performed in a downtown parade and in Brownwood at the Lions Convention.

May Day Festival Presented by Comanche Schools

Lions to Play Donkey Ball Game May 13
