Woodmen Circle News March Meeting At Grove No 1210
The Woomen Circle Grove No. 1210 of Comanche held its March 23 gathering with regular business. New member Mrs L S Brymer was initiated. Members are urged to attend, with meetings at 7 pm each Tuesday before regular sessions. Captain Mrs Garret Loudermick emphasizes punctuality. Reporter Mrs Rower Hasley.

Mrs. R. E. Poe Buried After Two Weeks Illness
Rebecca Elizabeth Poe 84 died Sunday after a two week illness. Funeral held Monday at 2 PM at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. Guy Davis officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by one sister, Mrs. W. B. Cunningham. two children died in infancy. moved to Comanche about fifteen years ago.

Charlie Collins Jr Buried After New London School Blast
Twelve year old Charlie Russ Collins Jr of New London died in the New Low school house explosion. He was in the writing room when the blast occurred and his body was found outside the building. He was a seventh grader, musician, and son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Collins. funeral held at the local Baptist Church with relatives and pallbearers from the Pate and Collins families.

Burial for Mary Elizabeth Vines in New London blast
Funeral services for 15 year old Mary Elizabeth Vines were held at Stagg Creek Cemetery after the New London school explosion that killed 425 students. She was staying with sister A C Claborn and attended the New London school as a freshman. Her parents and siblings survive.
