REA Wins First Round in Gilmer Quo Warranto Fight

Attorney General John Ben Shepperd loses a motion as District Judge Jack Roberts allows 50 cooperatives and Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative to remain as intervenors in the quo warranto suit. New Ford Stolen Here Recovered in Rising Star Stop

A new Ford Fairlane 4 Door V8 stolen Tuesday from Clemons Motor Co. was found abandoned Wednesday night in Rising Star with no damage. thieves broke a back window to enter the shop. They took $7 in small change and a license plate belonging to Jack Parker. Gas tanks from three cars were siphoned to fuel the Ford.
