Mrs Ralph Hull Appointed Texas Junior Garden Club Chief

Mrs Ralph Hull, long time Comanche Garden Club member, has been named State Junior Garden Club Chairman for Texas. The appointment came by mail from Mrs D A Puryear of Donna, Texas Garden Clubs president. Hull is immediate past president of Comanche Garden Club and now district chairman of the Blue Star Memorial Highway Committee with prior roles as recording secretary and lieutenant governor of District 5.

H E Class Presents FHA Program at Grammar School

A second year Home Economics class presented a Public Schools Week program for Eighth Grade girls on March 9 at the Grammar School. The event featured a pantomime and a panel discussion about the Future Homemakers of America creed and goals with Joyce McNutt as mistress of ceremonies and several participants named.

Comanche High School schedules its senior class play A Boy Named Beulah for April 12 and 14 in the auditorium under Miss Nobia Dunn. Sixteen seniors perform in a farcical comedy about Beulah disguising as a girl to keep an aunt’s allowance, with a bachelor misadventure and a colorful cast of characters.
