Comanche National Bank of Comanche Second Bank in Town
The Comanche National Bank, chartered December 19 1887, was the town’s second bank. J B Chilton served as president and W B Cunningham as cashier with a first board including J B Chilton T J Helmsley and others. The bank’s only major change came in 1905 when Cunningham resigned and Chilton assumed full management.
