The Woman's Society of Christian Service at Gustine Methodist Church met at the parsonage for an all day quilting session. Nearly two quilts were completed. Mrs Barnett led the Bible lesson in the afternoon. Members described Valentine origins, read poems, prayed, sang, and shared talks on February happenings. Visit from Mrs Fannie Barrett noted.

More Sewers Wanted For Red Cross Work

There are 6,000 large pads left to complete before the second quota arrives. Report to the courthouse top floor each afternoon at 1 30 or Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7 00 to help.
