S. J. Robertson Dies Monday At Energy

S. J. Robertson, 69, died at his Energy home Monday night. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Isham of Gustine and Rev. Greebon presiding. Interment was in White Point Cemetery. Born November 13, 1869 in Newton County Mississippi, he lived in Coryell and Comanche Counties before settling in Energy. He is survived by his wife and thirteen children including Jim of Brady Marshall of Corpus Christi G L of Gatesville Sam of Comanche John of Comanche Mrs J W Lewis Aquailla Mrs A M Knight Waco Mrs Alice Hollingsworth Whitney Mrs Elbert Scott Comanche Mrs Clyde Siebert Comanche Effie Energy Claudine Energy Wordna Energy.

Tom Cunningham Funeral Services Held Here Sunday

Tom J. Cunningham 57, Corpus Christi attorney and criminal district court reporter, died of a heart attack. Funeral services were at Central Christian Church in Corpus Christi with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by wife Catherine, a daughter and two sons, plus a large Cunningham family. services conducted by Revs. Klingman and Shepard.

Mrs H N Goodson, Herbert and Miss Berta recently completed an auto trip to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama. Gulf coastal drive through Mississippi and Florida highlighted the journey. The World's Fair hot dog remains at ten cents across eighty stands.

Frank Hughes Dies After Long Illness

Frank Hughes 33 a former City Water Department employee died at Brownwood Hospital after 10 days of treatment. Funeral services were held at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. A Edwin Wilson and others officiating. He was born February 14 1906 in Hill County and lived in Comanche over 70 years. He was survived by his wife Johnnye Smith two daughters Dorothy 11 and Vancie 10, his parents and several brothers and sisters of Comanche.
