Stolen Chevrolet Coupe Recovered by City Police
Officers recovered a stolen 6 Chevrolet coupe here Sunday night. The car was found abandoned near the Doc Isham vice Station on Highway 10 after being reported stolen Saturday in Meburne. Investigators traced ownership to Comanche and noted two local youths drove it, but no arrests were made.

Basil Hensler, recently returned from overseas service, died at Fort Worth hospital after surgery for appendicitis. The Farm Security Administration reports 108 Standard Rehabilitation Loans totaling 48166.24 for Comanche County farmers in 1939 for farm and home expenses and capital goods. Five Emergency Rehabilitation Loans amount to 571.06, and seven Community and Cooperative Service Loans total 5445.00. The three loan types equal 54482.29 with plans to repay in 1 to 5 years.
