Berry Growers Use Cold Storage to Extend Marketability
Berry growers are testing cold storage for marketing this season. Charles Cuthbertson stored berries with Barry Brothers for three days and found stored fruit held up better in Brownwood markets. Mayor Eanes says Comanche lacks an active cemetery association for over twenty years and seeks community interest to form one. J B Albcorn led an all day work at the cemetery, improving about three fourths of the grounds while the older section remains neglected. Clubs, organizations and individuals are invited to discuss forming a permanent body and a meeting will be scheduled for interested parties.
