Lee A. Irvin Dies at De Leon After Illness
Lee A. Irvin died at his De Leon home on Sunday May 31 after a six month illness. Born September 20 1878 in Brown County he was 63 years eight months. He moved to Comanche County in 1900 and married Lillie May Terry on December 16 1903. For 28 years he served with M E T Railway Co as brakeman and conductor. Survivors include his wife two daughters Medge Irvin of Houston and Lorene Bell of Mirando City Texas a son in law Finis T Bell a grandson Ronald Lee Bell two brothers W J Irvin of De Leon and C H Irvin of Stamford and two sisters Mrs Joe

Belle Phelps Dies at Home Near Comanche
Mrs Belle Reed Phelps 66 died at her home near Comanche on May 27. Funeral services were at De Leon Methodist Church with Rev F L Willshire officiating and burial in De Leon Cemetery. She was born April 9 1876 in Clarksville Red River County Texas daughter of I B Reed. She had lived many years in Oklahoma and Houston. Survived by five daughters four sons three grandchildren three sisters three brothers and other relatives.
