Seven Point Farm Program Outlined By Credit Assn
R. E. Seay of Comanche, director of the Stephenville Production Credit Association, spoke at a Fort Worth conference on wartime farming finances. A seven point program urged farmers to produce essentials, plan work, avoid overextension, conserve, pay debts, factor taxes, and use credit wisely. The Stephenville group lent over 1.7 million dollars to about 700 members in 1941 with loans ahead of last year and an emphasis on saving time and tires for farmers and ranchmen. Tyson Phillips is working at Brownwood.
