Edd and A E Wilson attend Baptist revival with Brownwood and Comanche relatives. A bridal shower honors Alene Rose Long for Daniel Lee Nix Jr. Basket picnic planned for July 20.
Mercer Gap T M McKinzie was honored with a birthday dinner Sunday hosted by daughter Mrs C W Payne at her home. Attendees included McKinzie and family, Payne and family, Rogers and son, plus relatives from Bangs and Comanche. Spending Sunday with Earn White at Gustine were W W McKinzie and Mrs G A Brown and son Fred. Curtis McKinzie and Dylan Payne attended the Brady Jubilee on the Fourth.
The Nabers family held their annual reunion at Lake Eanes on July 4 with a large turnout. Attendees included Dora Greene. J B Nabers and spouses. H N Goodson. C A Greene and spouses. F L Little and Suzanne Marshal of Comanche. multiple Nabers relatives from Brownwood Pecos Desdemona Strawn Eastland Texan Pinehill Alabama Fort Worth Houston Corpus Christi Gustine Kaufman and guests from New Mexico.
A quiet wedding was held July 2 at 8 o'clock at the bride's home as Miss Golda Gore and Thomas K Foreman united in marriage. Rev J C Smart performed the ring ceremony with only immediate family present. The couple plans to move July 20 to Delano California where Foreman will work for Earl Fruit Company.

Community revival started last Sunday night and will run through next week. Rev. Walter Scott and Rev. Reubin Ward preach, Will Robinson leads song services. Attendees are invited to join. Arbor is in Jim Stokes' pasture, one mile north of Lone Tree Hill.
