Comanche's Future Farmers of America chapter completed terraces on W. D. Evridge's sandy land. The walls reach 24 feet and 18 inches high with outlets being sodded to hold loam. Terracing aims to conserve moisture and enable rebuilding soil through years of cropped stripping before cultivation.
