Pfc Billy D Ford son of Mr and Mrs I S Ford of near Gustine who was reported wounded in France on October 24 is now in a hospital in Italy. He had major surgery December 1 and January 3 kidney removal. In a letter to his parents he says he is well cared for and doing as well as could be expected.
