FSA Opens Office In Masonic Building In Comanche
The Farm Security Administration opens an office Monday in the Masonic Building Comanche occupying two north rooms on the second floor. Rural Supervisor Wood row R Allen of Snyder and Home Economic Supervisor Miss God head the staff with Miss Hazel Harrel as stenographer. The agency makes loans to farmers unable to finance crops and guides farmers in work and home management.

Funeral Services For Mrs Edwards At White Point Church
Funeral services were held at White Point Methodist Church Thursday at 2 30 for Mrs T M Edwards who died Wednesday at her Comanche residence. Uncle Chas Carruth Civil War Vet Dies at Home
Uncle Chas Carruth, a Civil War veteran and long time Comanche County resident known as one of the county’s last surviving Confederates, died at his home five miles south of De Leon on Sabana Creek Wednesday. Funeral services were planned for De Leon Baptist Church Thursday afternoon. He helped found the Old Harmony Baptist Church and was a regular attendee at the annual Old Settlers Reunion for over thirty years.
