County To Get Two Road Contracts On January 24

Lions Hear Talks On Soil Conservation
The Comanche Lions Club luncheon featured W. Z. Compton principal and agriculture instructor and County Agent N. E. Scudder discussing soil conservation. Mrs. Tom Davis aged 72 longtime Comanche County resident and member of two pioneer families died at her Board Church home after a paralysis stroke. Interment followed in Board Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnnie Russell and Rev. Smallwood presiding. She was the widow of Tom Davis and mother of Mitchell Davis former County Treasurer. born Sarah Elizabeth Fritts.

Santa Fe Railroad Upgrades Track Between Fort Worth and Brownwood
