Texas state notice from Comanche County warns creditors of C L Garrett Jr who signed an assignment deed on January 10 1929. The assignee W F Kemp trustee must receive creditor consents in writing within four months and claims within six months at Comanche Texas.
Judge Sam M. Russell, recently appointed, is disqualified in most criminal cases due to his prior role as district attorney when indictments were found. Russell and Judge Eidson planned to exchange benches this week, but illness delayed the swap for a couple of weeks. On the 23rd Russell will preside in Gatesville and Eidson here for an indefinite period.
Due to illness in the pastor's family only Sunday School ran for three weeks until January 13. Attendance and offerings were strong upon return. The congregation sent gifts to the parsonage including food and clothing. Services resume regular hours. Women’s Missionary Society meets Monday at 3 p.m. Ben F. Hearn, Pastor.
