Comanche County begins selling 1947 highway vehicle plates on February 1 with about 3540 passenger sets BR10 to BR999 and BP7349 to BP9999 issued. Homer Bryant bought the first plate for a 1924 Model T touring car. plates attach March 1, with windshield stickers used if late. Over 5900 vehicles registered last year and owners must register locally to access road funds. titles must be updated to reflect 1947 plate registration.
