Large numbers of experts prune trees in Comanche county demonstrations

Resident of Comanche Passes After Sudden Heart Event
A. H. George, a thirty year resident of Comanche, died suddenly at his east town home on February second around 6 P M from acute indigestion. He had been removing machinery from the Cook building before calling for a doctor. Born in Pennsylvania, he moved to Comanche thirty years ago and ran a single business. His funeral was at Oakwood on the third, with Rev. Forrest Maddox, D D, officiating. Survivors include his wife and ten children: Mrs W H Barnard Alto Earl Jim George Fort Worth Claude John Albert Noveline Eva Mae and Robert William of Comanche.

A fire of undetermined origin Saturday night at the American Cafe caused extensive damage to the cafe and adjoining building. Total losses around 9000 dollars with the Campbell building bearing the heaviest hit at about 3400.
