F O Coker and Miss Opal Hood wed Friday evening in the home of R L Bowman in Indian Creek. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Tom Hood of Comanche, has worked at the Economy Store. The groom, son of Mr and Mrs M Q Coker of Indian Creek, will reside in Comanche with his new wife.
Mr and Mrs F M Williford marked their 61st wedding anniversary with a family reunion at their son Jim Williford s home in Has se. More than fifty relatives attended a Christmas dinner as the day s main attraction. The couple wed on December 19 1867.
Obie Hammonds son of Mr and Mrs R R Hammonds of the Indian Creek Community died Sunday from appendicitis. Interment was held Monday at Taylor Chapel Cemetery.
