Mrs. M. G. Wilkes of Llano killed an eight point and a ten point buck in a single day at Matlock Ranch near Llano. She and her husband were en route to visit her father C. E. Huffman at Has se, passing through Comanche last weekend.
Link Bowline and his Oklahoma Cowboy String Orchestra, famed radio artists, will perform at the Majestic on Thursday December 7. Manager Preston Tate says the company, renowned on major vaudeville circuits, plans one annual show in Comanche featuring music singing and novelty stunts.

A fire started from a defective flue at the I. Sad er farm near Gustine damaging the dwelling of Ben Nelson. Nelson and his family were away when the blaze began early Monday. A neighbor heard the fire and alerted aid, extinguishing the flames before total loss.
