Earnie Wilkerson Found Dead in Sipe Sunday Night
Earnie Wilkerson died after an attack at his home in Sipe Sunday night. He lived in Sipe Springs 58 years, ran a local business, and is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and his mother Mrs. M. E. Wilkerson of Dallas, with brothers and sisters in several states. Monselle O'Brien has enlisted in the US Air Corps and is stationed at Wichita Falls.

Comanche County Girls At TSCW Comanche County Students Attend Denton College
Two Comanche County girls, Josie Beth Allen and Margaret Ross Quinn of De Leon, are among 2450 students enrolled at Texas State College for Women in Denton. TSCW, the nation’s largest residential women’s college, draws students from 214 Texas counties, 27 states, and five foreign countries. The growth over 38 years is credited to anticipating women’s needs and preparing them to meet today’s world.
