John A Meyers 74 Dies. Rites Held in Comanche
John A. Meyers known as Jack, 74, died Monday night at a focal hospital after five years of ill health. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James K LeSueur and Rev. R. Welker officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by sister Mrs. Floyd Carpenter, brothers August Meyers and W M Meyers, plus several nephews and great nephews. He was born September 25, 1883 in Pueblo Colorado and long resident of Comanche. He worked in cafes and rock masonry and was a longtime member of Central Christian Church and Comanche Volunteer Fire Department since 1904. He was a sportsman known for hunting and fishing.
