Injured Voter Mishap Involving Young Riders

A 14 year old, James Wilndy Cagle, and 13 year old child of Mr. and Mrs. were injured Monday while riding in a motor scooter driven by Mrs. M. Hall. They were collected at N. Mary tion and traveled east when the accident occurred. The youths were treated at Harris Method Hospital for serious injuries after three hours of care.

Campaign to Begin Early in Jen County Fund Drive

A Foundation Paralysis Fund drive starts early in January with Ben Comanche County appointing Pirkle as Chairman and Newton of De Leon as campaign head for the Comanche area. The National Foundation for Polio, led by President Franklin, supports polio victims and rehabilitation efforts. Six Comanche County residents receive aid from the NFLP, with four in rehabilitation to lead normal lives. Comanche County donated about $3,000. NFLP has spent or pledged roughly $10,000 for local patients. Chairman Sudderth urges county support as Pirkle and Newton plan calls to local individuals and groups for assistance. Pate M. Fagan Claimed By Death

Comanche real estate dealer Pate M. Fagan, 77, died at home on East Oak after a heart attack. Funeral services were at First Baptist Church with Rev. Henry M Chambers and Rev. S. J. Isham officiating. interment in Oakwood Cemetery. He was born October 20, 1880, son of Elder Alfred M. Fagan, married Kate Aldridge in 1901, and owned more than 700 acres in Democrat and Brushy Gap. He spent years in Comanche real estate and chaired local Sons of Rest activities. He is survived by wife, two sons Eiland and Herbert, a sister Mrs. J. M. Haynes, with no brother.

Houston Woman Dies in Comanche in Acute Heart Attack

Mrs Allyson Price Thornton of Houston 57 died Friday in Comanche from an acute heart attack suffered in the family car near the Chief Motel office. She and husband John F. Thornton were en route to Lubbock to visit relatives at Reese Air Force Base. Funeral arrangements and cremation details were not specified.
