Slaughter cows and bulls steady while medium calf prices ease. Feeder steers and heifers steady. heiferettes and high yielding young slaughter cows rise 50 cents to 2 dollars. Pairs and stocker cows near steady. 118 consignors, 50 buyers, 117 accounts. receipts estimated 1075 stocker calves and yearlings with varied prices across weights and brands.
The Stag Creek X mas Party is set for Saturday night December 21 at the Community Center. Friends and neighbors are invited to attend with a gift exchange by number. Santa will greet children with fruit and candy and about twenty five children attended last year. Refreshments including sandwiches snacks holiday goodies coffee and punch will be served.
