Beattie Community Thanksgiving Celebration and Fair
More than a thousand residents gathered in Beattie for the dedication of the new community hall and school improvements with R S Walker as master of ceremonies and Judge R A Luker as principal speaker. The event featured a varied school program, a noon stew and picnic, afternoon basketball against nearby schools led by Carlton, and a community fair with field crops textiles and canned goods.
