Comanche officials urge paving Highway 10 to attract travelers and boost local business. A resident estimates 50 more cars per day would pass through if 10 was paved, potential earnings of about 75 dollars daily and nearly 2,500 monthly, with Fort Worth and Houston as regional hubs influencing demand.
At a bi weekly luncheon the Comanche Lions Club formed a committee to study homes Santa may miss this Christmas and to organize fund raising to bring Christmas cheer to Comanche and nearby. Morton L Harris and his family from Smithville visited relatives. At Atwoods unfurnished novelty furniture makes a fine Christmas present.
A three day poultry show will be held in Hamilton from December 7 to 9 with poultry specialists presenting lectures. The Hamilton City Poultry Association announces the event and invites attendance by the public.

She studied with her mother and Fay Trumbull of Oklahoma City, head of the Piano Department at Oklahoma Methods University, a Leschistzky graduate. Also notes local gas and oil outlet at Pennant Filling Station and Mett House.
Mr and Mrs Tom Lee Purvis Coleman were guests of relatives in Comanche Sunday. The brief item notes their visit and location without further details.

A nearly new Ford Coupe was stolen from Joe Tupin on the night before Thanksgiving. The Tupins left their car with the key in front of Jock Cauley’s residence at 7:30 p.m. and returned at 10 p.m. to find the vehicle missing. No clues have located the thieves or the car to date.
