GI Homecoming Draws Crowd Tuesday Night
An estimated 3500 attended the Veterans Homecoming at the football and rodeo grounds in Comanche Tuesday night. A total of 392 ex servicemen and one ex servicewoman registered for the free barbecue, with about 200 more servicemen joining later for rodeo entertainment. Prizes including watches, Stetson hats, and writing sets were awarded as Bean, a Comanche ranch man, oversaw arrangements for the event.
