Fresh To Begin Monday Indians Football Preview
Forty one players reported to football practice this week for two a day workouts. The Freshman will have their own team this season and report when school begins Monday. The Indians return eleven offensive and eight defensive starters and host a scrimmage in Winters on August 23. A triple header scrimmage travels to Stephen ville on August 30 before opening the season against Granbury on September 6. Senior and junior and sophomore players listed include Arm strong Bingham Lee Wag goner Wilhelm and Williams, Biggs Bill Davis etc with trainer Ken Vaughn.

Comanche Air Show Plans Highlight August Event
Final plans for the Comanche Air Show were set by the Air Show Committee on Friday. The event at Comanche County City Airport on August 17 features U S Army units, helicopter and parachute displays, model planes, and guest pilot W T Todd from Van Alstyne. A luncheon at PAR Country Club follows, with airport closure at 1 30 p m.

Indian Band Boosters Launch Membership Drive
