Finis Mason Dies After Bath Tub Injury in San Francisco

Finis W. Mason known as Cotton Mason aged 67 died Saturday in San Francisco California after a bath tub accident. He had played baseball in the Southern League for several years and later worked as a machinist at Mare Island Ship Yards. At a recent board meeting T R Atwood was elected Co manche High School band director for the 1952 53 school year. He succeeds William D Che Bradley resigns to take a teaching post at Sonora. Atwood, former Comanche resident, has led Eastland’s band for five years and will move to Comanche to begin his work. Mrs Jack Vaught was elected to fill the vacant average school position.
