Moody Builds New Hi Ways in Fellowship and Holcomb
Commissioner J. T. Moody of Precinct two led rapid road construction in a rural county area, building the Fellowship and Holcomb road to the Pecan Belt Highway in 17 work days at about $145 per mile. The project required landowner cooperation, fence removal, and free local labor, turning a former wagon trail into a 40 foot wide, seven mile road.
