McCullough dies at 78 in Sidney Texas
G W McCullough 80 year old Sidney resident died April 22 at his home. Born May 18 1848 in Wayne County Missouri he married Margaret Hudspeth in 1871 and had ten children. Survived by wife, many children, 45 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. funeral held at Oakwood Cemetery with T O O F Lodge. Oil test by T P Oil Co spudded on Ward tract reached over 300 feet with potential 3000 foot depth to strike oil. Westward oil development continues from Brown county field with interest from several producers.

Earl Isham son of John Isham from the Newburg area died Sunday at his home after nearly a year with heart trouble. Funeral at Newburg Monday 2:00 PM with Rev. Busby officiating. Oakwood Cemetery at 3:30 PM. Born July 26, 1894 he married Velma Fisher February 11, 1914 and is survived by his parents two sisters Mrs Jack McCurdy and Mrs Bruce Lane.
