Lane buys Percheron stallion for Comanche exhibition
Local breeder T. O. Lane purchased a three year old Percheron stallion from John W. Carpenter Breeding Farm near Dallas and will exhibit the horse in Comanche Monday. Lane has bred stock and stood several stallions and jacks in past years. Dwight Brightman, ex sheriff of Comanche County, moved to Kansas City after a December DOJ appointment. investigators usually relocate briefly before longer assignments. Mrs. Brightman and daughter Jane Anne left Tuesday to visit him.
