Mrs Fannie Hart Shoemaker died Sunday April 8 after months of illness. Born August 12 1863 in Bay Springs Mississippi she taught in Texas and Alabama before settling in Comanche. She married P W Shoemaker in 1887 and her son Hart Shoemaker survived as a successful business man. She was active in Eastern Star and Masonry and was laid to rest with Masonic honors at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev Tenney officiating.
