Comancheans Die in Wreck Near Brownwood
A car carrying Comanche youths overturned five miles east of Brownwood on the Goldthwaite Highway killing Neil Sprouse instantly and Travis Fritts died later from head injuries. Four others were injured. Hicks driving survived with severe injuries. Funeral services for Sprouse and Fritts were held at Mount Pleasant and First Baptist churches with VFW military rites. Survivors include parents, siblings, and several relatives.
