Senator Morris Sheppard of Texas died in Washington on a Wednesday at age sixty six. Born in Wheatville Texas he studied at the University of Texas and began law practice in Texarkana. Elected to the 57th Congress in 1902 he served 39 years in Congress before his death and a funeral is planned for Texarkana Saturday afternoon.
