Sheriff W H Graham Faces Head Tax Backlash in Stevens County

The Stevens County Sheriff and deputies faced protests while collecting a $5 head tax levied by the legislature. Potatoes Price Outlook and Local Grower Notes

Northwest potato expert Frank W. Vines predicts rising retail prices as 75 percent of potatoes fall to dealers.
