Record Low Readings Across Nebraska Despite Mild Afternoon
A cool high pressure system pushed Nebraska temperatures down overnight with several sites reporting freezing readings. Scottsbluff logged 17 degrees at Agate National Fossil Beds while Lincoln and Sidney recorded 49 and 31 degrees respectively, with North Platte hitting a record 31 for September 9.
