Foxworth lands TV series after regional stage path

Gallup resigns as district attorney in Omaha

J William Gallup of Omaha resigns as Assistant US District Attorney citing frustration over a federal search of the National Committee to Combat fascism and black militant group headquarters. Pair face arraignment on plane charges

Los Angeles reports two men face federal charges for threatening to blow up airliners. McDonald a 41 year old Hollywood resident was arrested near Hollywood High School after opening a bag claimed to hold ransom money. Agnew Returns to Washington After Asian Tour

Vice President Spiro T. Agnew arrived back in Washington following a 30 000 mile asian tour. He said Asian leaders favored troop withdrawals if more military and economic aid followed. Agnew held a 24 percent hour briefing with President Johnson at the LBJ Ranch near Austin. He described the visit as profitable and noted Johnson's cooperation.

Kearney Judge Takes Motion In Murder Case Under Advisement

Buffalo County Judge J Karl Taylor took under advisement a defense motion to dismiss second degree murder charges against James Warnell 31.07 in the death of Galdie Whipple 44 whose body was found in the Platte River near Kearney Aug. Beatty said the prosecution lacks enough evidence to warrant trial. Judge Taylor will rule Thursday at 4 p.m. Warnell has pleaded innocent. Autopsy by Dr John Scott could not fix death date though ruled as drowning.
