Long absent teenager Bequette reunited with family in Omaha
Walter Todd Bequette, 15, of Carter Lake Iowa, returned to his family after being missing since April 18 1974. Investigators, led by Denny Whelan, found him reportedly kept at a residence near Clarkson Washington under a man named Jerry Ray Holman. Bequette appeared physically restrained and described as acting robotlike though mentally responsive. Authorities recovered pornographic material at the residence. Holman was in federal custody in Spokane. Bequette was welcomed by relatives at Omaha Bonley Airport amid tight media access.
