Wreck kills Richland man James Kozak
James Kozak aged 30 of Richland was killed in a Thursday night car train crash southwest of Richland at the Platte Colfax county line. State Patrol Trooper Roger Wolfe said the eastbound Union Pacific train struck the northbound car with its engine and threw it to the southeast, Kozak was ejected from the vehicle.
