Boy files $150000 suit over paint price hike
West Babylon boy John Malachowsky, aided by his mother Antoinette, sued Tester Corp of Rockford in a Justice Department action alleging price increases on Pla Enamel and Spray Pla Enamel violated the economics stabilization program. The firm contends the rise followed Price Commission guidelines and was the first in 20 years. John, an eighth grader building model planes since age eight, said he was surprised by the move and questioned why a case over four cents would be prosecuted.
